Show ENQCH-MIDVALLEY NEWS NOTES Br Cora Murie Mr. and Mrs. Norman Grim-shaw Grim-shaw traveled to the home of Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Grimshaw in Bountiful where they were Joined by Mr. and Mrs. Paul Grimshaw and family from Richfield for Thanksgiving. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Jones were home for the week end. The Joneses are spending the school year in Vernal where Frank teaches school. Miss Linda Grimshaw spent Thanksgiving and the week end here. She is working In Salt Lake City, and Is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. F. H. Grimshaw. Robert Sherratt, who is In the armed forces, is home. He came to spend Thanksgiving and his ten day leave. He is a son of Mr. and Mrs. John Sherratt Friday afternoon the Relief Society So-ciety honored Miss Verla Rob-bins Rob-bins with a personal shower. She is being married this Saturday. Miss Avy Matheson was home to spend Thanksgiving and the week end with her parents Mr. and Mrs. Evan Matheson and friends. i Bishop and Mrs. Henry Grimshaw Grim-shaw and family spent Thanksgiving: Thanks-giving: in Parowan with Mrs. Grimshaw' s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Thomas K. Holy oak, and family. Visiting with the George D. Grimshaw family on Friday were Mr. and Mrs. Oleen Hatch and I family of Fillmore, and Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Stubbs and family I of Parowan. Visiting with the Raymond ' Christiansens for Thanksgiving I were his mother, Mrs. H. C. Chris- J tiansen and his sister Irene. . Frank Christiansen went back to Ogden with them. Having Thanksgiving dinner with the Cressel Sherratts from out-of-town were Mr. and Mrs. Ray Hafen and family of Henderson, Hen-derson, Nev.; Mr. and Mrs. Walter Walt-er Hafen and family of St. George and Mr. and Mrs. Merlin Lee of Virgin, and from here Mr. and Mrs. John Sherratt and Robert. Spending Thanksgiving with the Bud Nelsons were Mr. and Mrs. Burns Finlinson and family of Oak City. Mr. and Mrs. Bill Krueger and family from Capitol Reef National Nation-al Monument spent Thanksgiving with Mrs. Krueger's mother, Mrs. Emma Nelson, and family. Mr. and Mrs. Farrell Murie and family come from Milford to spend Thanksgiving Day here. Bishop and Mrs. Henry Grimshaw Grim-shaw and daughters Gay and Dorothy made a business and pleasure trip to California last week. Richard, Steven and David Grimshaw went to Salt Lake City to attend the football game Sat- urday. I The missionary testimonial I held in our ward Sunday for Lloyd Hafen was attended by a large crowd. There were several j carloads of friends and relatives from St. George. I Earl Murie made a business trip to Page, Ariz, on Tuesday. |
