Show Officers and Directors Elected By Golf Organization Officers were elected Monday evening and a permanent organ-zation organ-zation affected to be known as the Southern Utah Country Club, organized for the purpose of developing de-veloping and operating a golf course in Cedar City. Nine directors of the club were elected at the meeting Monday, after which a president, vice president and secretary were elected from the board. Three directors. Jim Amend. Steve Asmus and Ralph Thomas, were named for three-year terms; three, Graham Macdon-ald, Macdon-ald, Pat Fenton and Elden Yer-gensen Yer-gensen for two-year terms, and three others, Robert Loer, E. W. Southwick and Stanley Brad-wick, Brad-wick, for one-year terms. Named as president of the new organization was Thomas, with Asmus as vice president and Southwick as secretary and treasurer. trea-surer. Memberships In the club are now being accepted and as soon as a definite quota is reached construction of the new course to be located north of Cedar City, will be started. |
