Show Residents in Store For Musical Highlight Residents of Cedar City were assured today of a musical highlight high-light on Monday, Sept. 10 when Rublnoff and his violin, internationally inter-nationally famed popular concert con-cert artist, appears at the C S U auditorium here under the sponsorship of the Rotary Club, It was announced by Jim Hey-wood, Hey-wood, president. "We feer Indeed fortunate in being able to bring such a great artist to Cedar City." Mr. Hey-wood Hey-wood said today in making the announcement, "and we are all aggressively determined to make this one of the outstanding events of the season." ruiiUiiig Out inki special cvii'i- mittees and ticket selling locations loca-tions would be announced soon, the local chairman urged all organization or-ganization members "and others interested in civic betterment" to join in making the concert a huge financial success for the benefit of the Boy Scouts of Utah. Rublnoff and his violin, a long favorite American combination, is well-known to millions both from his current concert appearances, appear-ances, nationwide radio broadcasts broad-casts with Eddie Cantor, television tele-vision guestlngs, and his motion mo-tion picture engagements. This tour' is heralded as a concert "In tune with the times." The famed musician will bring here with his concert the fabulous fab-ulous Stradivarius violin which, insured for $100,000, is reputed to possess the most beautiful tonal to-nal qualities in the entire world, and a brand new program of famous fa-mous favorites loved by people everywhere, such as the Warsaw Concerto, Chopin's Polonaise, De. Bussy's Clair de Lune. and Ger. shwln's Rhapsody in Blue. These compositions will have their premier pre-mier performance as violin solos so-los arranged and played by the maestro.
