Show Kivanis International Dignitaries To Attend Annual District Covention The 37th annual convention of the Utah-Idaho District Dis-trict of Kiwanis International will be staged in Cedar City Sept. 1 through Sept. 3 and among the dignitaries in attendance at-tendance will be 11. Park Arnold, of Glendale, Calif. Mr. Arnold has recently been elected treasurer of Kiwanis Ki-wanis International and he will represent the international organization at the district confab here in Cedar City. In addition, an honored guest, the international president of Kiwanis will be in attendance. He is Reed C. Culp of Salt Lake City. President Culp and his wife will be especially honored at a "Sheepherder's Banquet" to be staged at the College of Southern Utah stadium stad-ium on the opening evening of the convention. H. Wayne Marrs, district Governor, Gov-ernor, Vernal, will introduce Mr. Arnold at the opening session of the convention, Saturday, Sept. 1 and at that time Mr. Arnold will make his official appearance appear-ance before the delegation. That session will be held at the C S U auditorium. Frank Milne, president of the Cedar City club, will serve as official of-ficial host to the convention and Lee Empey, of Cedar City, is serving ser-ving as convention general chairman chair-man with Therol McArthur as convention secretary. Orcranlzed Committees have been organized organ-ized for the event which will bring approximately 400 Kiwan-ians Kiwan-ians to Cedar City for three days, as follows: Executive Committee: Dr. and Mrs. H. Wayne Marrs, Vernal; Lee Empey, Therol McArthur, Frank Milne and Mrs. Burns Sherratt, Cedar City; Joseph Beh-ling, Beh-ling, Ogden.
