Mrs. Alva Batty and children wer visitors in Hurricane Sunday. Sun-day. Visitors at the Batty home Sunday evening were Mr. and j Mrs. Reed Johnson of Cedar City, and Mr. and Mrs. Ben Batty j and sons of New Harmony. j Mr. and Mrs. Evan Reeves, Boyd Reeves and Don Robinson were Saturday visitors at Grand Canyon. I Miss Janice Williams has returned re-turned home after spending the i ; summer at Grand Canyon where she had employment. - Mr. and Mrs. Preston Williams were week end visitors at Ely, Nev., with relatives. Mr. and Mrs. George Munford and family and Mr. and Mrs. Leon Davis spent a few days at Grand Canyon and other points of Interest. Kelvin Zohner and Susie Leader Lead-er spent Saturday at Bryce Canyon. Can-yon. Mrs. Ethna Ford and daughter, Barbara, and Lauralie Williams were visitors in Salt Lake City. Mrs. Gloria Anderson gave a welner roast Sunday evening to a group of teen-age boys in honor hon-or of her nephew Mike Anderson of Van Nuys, Calif., who has visited vis-ited here for a couple of weeks. Mike will return to his home soon. Mr. and Mrs. Verdell Roundy and daughter of Whittwer, Calif., 1 visited here with her mother, Mrs. Vaughn Isom. Mr. and Mrs. Woodrow Pollock 'and family of Seaside, Calif., were visitors here with Mr. Pollock's Pol-lock's father, Sam L. Pollock. Waldo Reeves and daughter. Norma, were week end visitors at Ely, Nev. They were accompanied accom-panied on their return by Mrs. Reeves and son, Bruce, who had visited there for couple of weeks with a son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Clayton Reeves. Emron Reeves of Henderson, Nev., visited here with his father jW.C. Reeves. . Mr. and Mrs. Noel Williams received re-ceived word of the birth of daughter to their son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Jim Wilkinson Wil-kinson of Salt Lake City. Mrs. Williams will go to Salt Lake to be with her daughter for awhile. "The recreation committee put slides and a drinking fountain on our park Saturday. Swings will be put in later. Mrs. Barbara Williams and children visited in Cedar City with her parents, MY. and Mrs. Ed Strubble.
