Show Double Ring Event Unites Popular Couple A quiet wedding ceremony per. formed before a few friends and close relatives united Miss Mary Woolsey and Byron Blair Turn-beaugh Turn-beaugh in wedlock Saturday, Aug 18. The double ring ceremony cere-mony was performed by Bishop Homer Jones and was held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Claude Smith. Following the late afternoon ceremony the couple received friends at a reception in their honor Saturday evening. The reception re-ception was also held at the Smith home. The bride .is the daughter of Dee L. Woolsey and Mrs. Ramo-na Ramo-na Esplin. The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence M. Turnbeaugh. For the nuptial occasion the bride chose a satin gown of ballerina bal-lerina length with overlays of French lace and tulle. The jacket was of French lace with petite buttons down the front, with a standing collar. Her veil of bride's illusion was of fingertip length and it was caught to a crown of seed pearls and rhlne-stones. rhlne-stones. Attending the bride was Miss Barbara Bulloch as maid of honor hon-or and Miss Joan Boynes and Miss Colleen Turnbeaugh a sister sis-ter of the bridegroom, as bridesmaids. brides-maids. The young Miss Jane Es-meler Es-meler was flower girl. Duties of best man were performed per-formed by a brother of the bridegroom, bride-groom, Jerry Turnbeaugh, and ushers were Jim Deffendahl and Neil Jensen. Host and hostess for the recep. tion were Mr. and Mrs. Norman Esmeier. Serving were Miss Eleanor Grimshaw, Miss Marie Beck and Miss Patsy Woolsey. In the gift roof were Mrs. Aubra Lambeth, Mrs. Merle Smith and Miss Sharon Slack. Assisting in the kitchen were Mrs. Bladen Leigh. Mrs. Keith Srnith and Mrs. Jerry Turnbeaugh. The couple will make their home in Rosemeade, Calif, where the bridegroom is employed. The new Mrs. Turnbeaugh plans to continue her schooling there. |
