Show Quarterly Conference Attendance Urged by Officers With Elder Marion D. Hanks of the First Council of Seventy and Elder Alfred W. L'hrhan of the general welfare committee of the Church of Jesus Christ of Lattedday Saints coming to preside pre-side the regular quarterly conference con-ference of the Parowan Stake will be held he on Saturday and Sunday of this week. And the stake presidency consisting con-sisting of Howard D. Knight, George D. Grimshaw and D. Watson Wat-son Adams extend an urgent invitation in-vitation to all member of the stake to attend the general sessions ses-sions of the conference on Sunday Sun-day and urge those who are expected ex-pected to attend the Saturday Welfare and Priesthood meetings to be present. The Welfare meeting will convene con-vene at 6:30 p. m. and the Priesthood Priest-hood Leadership meeting at 8 p. m. both in the Parowan First-Second First-Second Ward chapel. Sunday sessions will convene at 10 a. m. and 2 p. m. with the MIA Session to be held at 7:30 p. m. and in the Third Ward chapel. cha-pel. At the afternoon session on Sunday a new member of the Parowan Stake High Council will be sustained to take the place of Howard N. Dalley, of Summit, who is moving to Cedar City for the winter in connection with his wortr wtth the school board office. of-fice. Primary children of the stake, directed by Roberta Rowley and accompanied by June M. Decker, will furnish the music for the Sunday morning session and the stake and ward Primary officers and teachers will furnish the music for the afternoon session. The MIA session will feature a program arranged by members of the stake MIA board, and consisting of numbers from all six wards In the stake. |
