FRED HOOPER Cedar City Couple Recite Vows In Home Ceremony Miss Ada Marie Wood and William Wil-liam Fred Hooper were united in marriage on December 29 in a quiet home ceremony performed by Bishop Giles Bolander at the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Rulon Wood. The bridegroom's parents, Mr. I and Mrs. W. R. Hooper of Anna-I Anna-I bella. Utah, and other close relatives rela-tives and friends of both families were In attendance. Acting as bridesmaid was Miss Phyllis Chatterley and Sherrell Newby was best man. Miss Deon Jackson was at the guest book. The bride was radiant in a velvet vel-vet chiffon floor length dress with a modified bell skirt and graceful flowing train. The short bouffant veil made of French illusion il-lusion was perfect with a crown of minute pearls and lace. The left side of the skirt, the sleeves and the scoop neck of the dress were accentuated by re-embrold-ered French lace which accomplished accomp-lished an effect of exquisite beauty. The bridal bouquet was made of crescent and yellow roses and holly with gold ribbon streamers. The bridesmaid wore a gold satin dress which was a replica in style of the wedding dress with a short modified bell skirt. She held a bouquet of white crescent flowers. The mother of the bride wore a mauve lace sheath and mother of the bridegroom bride-groom wore a tan wool crepe, each with a corsage of white. The bridal couple, after a short honeymoon, traveled to Logan where they will make their home while ihey both auenu the Utah State University. |
