Show Death Claims Former Resident Joseph Foster Joseph D. Foster, 75, former prominent Cedar City livestock man, died Sunday, Dec. 31, at Sandy, Utah, following a lingering linger-ing illness. . . " Mr. Foster was born January 14, 1887. in St. George, a son of Solo, Jr, and . Sara Margaret Moody Foster, and spent most of his life in southern Utah. He received his eudcation in the public schools of St. George, at the Branch Normal School in Cedar City, Brigham Young University Uni-versity and Utah State Agricultural Agricul-tural College. He taught school in Grand County High School, Moab, In 1913, and in the Washington Wash-ington County elemetary school 1914 through 1916. He lived in i Cedar Vallev. engaging in farm-1 ing and livesiuck raising for 35 Vears, and moved to Sandy In 1952. He married Theressa Knell on August 26, 1913, in the St. George LDS Temple. Survivors Include four sons and three daughters, Keith D. Foster, Dr. Charles E. Foster, and Clift Foster, Salt Lake City; Dr. How-ard How-ard Foster, Jamestown, Indiana; Mrs. A. L. (Grace) Wheeler, Pa-cifica, Pa-cifica, Calif., and Mrs. Ray (Lilly) (Lil-ly) Parker, San Mateo, Calif.; a brother, George W. Foster, Cedar City; two sisters, Mrs. H. P. Anderson, An-derson, Salt Lake City, and Mrs. Silvon Inglcman, Los Angeles, and a half-brother, Clive Clift, Salt Lake City. Funeral services were held i Wednesday at the Crescent Ward I in Sandy, and burial was in the Memorial Gardens, Sandy. Human life Is a constant want and ought to be a constant prayer.. ...
