Show I SUMMIT Mrs. Donra Davenport Our ward mcrr-bers were treated treat-ed to a most Interesting Sacra-nient Sacra-nient meeting Sunday afternoon when Brother Boyd Beagley of the Cedar L. D. S. Seminary addressed ad-dressed us. The people of Summit enjoyed the hospitality of Mr. and Mrs. J. Frank Dalley Sunday afternoon after-noon and evening as they visited at the Dalley home and were served delicious ref reshments. ' Monday evening the Dalleys entertained en-tertained friends and former neighbor from Cedar City. Mr. and Mrs. Otto Dalley traveled tra-veled to Richfield on New Year's to spend the day with their daughter and family, the Von Davlses. Spending part of the holidays at the Wilford Lawrences was their daughter and family the Norton B. James of Hunter. The Jameses traveled on to Las Vegas Ve-gas for a couple of day's stay before returning home. Bishop and Mrs. Ivan Dalley and daughters, Bonnie, Kathleen and Maxine, traveled to Provo Saturday to meet and spend the day with their son-in-law and daughter, Paul and Mary Jane Rasmussen and their two children child-ren of Lansing, Michigan. The Rasmussen were in Utah to spend the holidays with Paul's folks in Hyde Park. They made the long trip by Jet plane. Leon Dalley of the U. S. Navy spent the New Year's week end here with his folks, the Ivan Dalleys. Mr. and Mrs. A. T. Lawrence have returned home after spending spend-ing Christmas with their daughter daugh-ter and family, the Ronald Hayeses in Kearns. Week end visitors at the Nets Madsen home was Mrs. Madsen's son, Theo Smith and family of Ogden. Also Mr. Madsen's son, and wife, Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Madsen of Moab. David Cheney of California, a former Summit resident, spent Sunday visiting here. Miss Faye Nielsen of Murray spent part of the holidays here with her sister and family, the Dee El Stapleys. Mr .and Mrs. Bud Wilson and baby visited during the week end with Mrs. Wilson's brother and family, the Rodger Morton's, before be-fore returning to their home In Colorado after spending the holidays holi-days with Mrs. Wilson's folks, the Leslie Mortons In Downey, Calif. Bertrand Dalley was home over the week end from his employment em-ployment near Beryl. The Sunday School sponsored a ward party Saturday evening where games and dancing were enjoyed and light refreshments were served. Miss Francis Farrow of Mercury, Mer-cury, Nev. spent the New Year's week end here with her folks, the Raymond Farrows. |
