Show Lloyd Sherratt Wins Leadership Recognition Captain Lloyd C. Sherratt. son of Mrs. Horace Miller of Cedar City, was recently awarded the commendation ribbon with medal med-al pendant for his exceptional performance as a batery commander com-mander with the 10th division artillery. The award was made to Capt. Sherratt for his performance of his duties as a battery commander command-er for the period of Sept. 12, 1955 through Oct. 3, 1956. Award was presented by Lt. Colonel Amel L. Cox, adjutant general of the lOtl Infantry Division. At the time the citation was awarded Capt. Sherratt held the rank of first lieutenant, receiving his captaincy since. .The citation accompanying the award read in part, as follows: "Lt. Sherratt performed his duties dut-ies in an outstanding and meritorious merit-orious manner .... His unstinting unstint-ing efforts, professional knowledge knowl-edge and tremendous leadership produced a battery which could always be reckoned upon to give an outstanding performance in tevery situation." |
