Show Special Hunt Permits Sale Begins August 26 Deer hunters should remember the date, Aug. 26, If they wish to apply for a special permit to hunt on any of the several areas where these hunts were author-ized author-ized this year by the Utah Board of Big Game Control. This reminder was issued today to-day by the department of fish and game, as spokesmen also noted no-ted that all rules and regulations governing the 1957 deer seasons are listed in the yearly proclamation proclama-tion available at department offices of-fices or from license agents over the state. With the exception of three early season special hunting areas, all special deer permits go on sale Aug. 26, at the deer permit sales offices listed for each unit as shown in the proclamation. proc-lamation. Both will receive equal priority in the issuance of the alloted permits, which will remain on sale until sold or until the season sea-son set for each hunt is ended. Under board ruling, anyone passessing a 1957 big game license li-cense may apply for and receive two special deer permits, provided pro-vided that only one may be for any one of the special hunting The second ruling allows the holder of a special permit for any such unit to also use his regular reg-ular license and tag to take another an-other animal from that unit while the season is open to hunting hunt-ing on such unit. |
