Show LETTERS TO THE EDITOR AS I SEE IT Here, there, and everywhere: I see now where the great Fish and Game Department has issued its big game proclamation. It seems, that they are still determined, just for the sake of a few dollars that they are bilking the public out of, to continue to destroy our great deer and big game population pop-ulation here in Utah. They are not only destroying it on the public doman; now they are coming on private property and making it hard for private owners own-ers to stop the slaughter. However, it seems that they don't have to have extended hunts in the Kolob area and I believe in other areas also, because be-cause the public is hunting the year around with disregard to the laws of the fish and game department. de-partment. Through their extended extend-ed hunts and the mad slaughter of deer, the fish and game department de-partment is slowly padlocking all gates on private land to public pub-lic hunting. Now I see where the Elsenhower Elsen-hower and Washington staff are dictating to our young people, telling them where they can go. It seems to me that if our young people can take a trip abroad anywhere in the world if they pay for it, it would be much better bet-ter than sending some of our great ambassadors over there on taxpayers money. I am sure we would get more good out of our young people. As I see it. It might be a good thin? that we haven't taken in Red China because our foreign alders would give the rest of our taxpayers' money and keep us further in bondage. You know it would be nice if we could go back to true Americanism instead in-stead of drifting into socialism, communism or foreignism. It would also be nice if our big game department would help protect the business that they are in instead of just holding office. Clarence Lamoreaux |
