Show Last Rites Conducted For Anna T. Adams Funeral services for Miss Anna An-na Theodora Adams, prominent Parowan resident, who died last Monday, were held last Wednesday Wednes-day afternoon in the First -Second Ward chapel. Woodrow Decker of the First Ward bishopric, conducted con-ducted the services and gave a few opening remarks, and Bar bara Jane Bayles was at the o-gan o-gan for prelude and postlude music. Speakers weie Edna S. Hatch and F. C. Van Buren. The prayer at the home was offered by Herman Her-man E Bayles, the invocation was offered by Will L. Adams, the closing prayer by Bishop Wil-ford Wil-ford Larson of Orem and the gra In the city cemetery was dedicated by Harley W. Dalton. Musical numbers on the program pro-gram consisted of the song "Tho Deepening Trials." by a mixed quartet, consisting of Mr. and Mrs. W. Clair Rowley and Mr. and Mrs J Harold Mitchell, accompanied accom-panied by Vanda Mitchell; a vo-cal vo-cal solo, 'The Lord's Prayer," by Pres. Howard Knight, accompanied accompan-ied by Miss Bayles; a vocal solo "Beyond the Sunset," by Howard Holt, accompanied by his wife, Verna Holt, of Enterprise, and a vocal solo, "Goin' Home," by Mary O. Topham, also accompanied accom-panied by Miss Bayles. Pallbearers were all nephews of the deceased, Albert and How. ard Holt and Herman Adams, of Enterprise; Albert E. Adams, Jr., Cedar City, and Roy and Norman Adams, Parowan. |
