Show Rock Club Prepares Mineral Exhibit For Educational Fair The Rock club will furnish an unusual exhibit of specimens in connection with the education fair at Branch Agricultural college col-lege April 17 and 18, it was announced an-nounced by Prof. Parley Dalley, president of the club. The club is made up of residents resi-dents of Cedar City and vicinity interested in rocks, minerals, artifacts ar-tifacts and fossils found in the area. Some of the more interesting inter-esting of the specimens gathered by club members will be on display. dis-play. The specimens have been gathered from every county in southwestern I'tan as well as adjoining ad-joining areas in Nevada and Ariz ma. One of the most interesting features of this exhibit will ho a display of fluorescent minerals under the direction of II. K. Le-Seur, Le-Seur, first vice president of the club. This display will include a large hollow concretion lined with stalactic chalcedony and opal, which under the influence of the ultra-violet light, is a veritable fairy cavern, according to Professor Dalley. |
