Show Sixth Ward to Stage "The Living Christ" Easter Cantata "The Living Christ", an Easter Cantata, will be presented by the Cedar Sixth ward choir on Sunday, Sun-day, April 12, at 8 p. m. in the Third-fourth ward chapel. All are invited to attend and enjoy this fine cantata commemorating the death and resurrection of the Savior. The chir, under the direction di-rection of L. F. Luke, has been practicing for several weeks to make this presentation an outstanding out-standing success. Music for the cantata was composed by Henry Wildermere. and the text w as written by Rene Bronner. The choir of 50 voices will be under the direction of Mr. Luke. Mrs. Alberta Morris will aecm-pany aecm-pany on the organ and Mrs. Ada Palmer on the piano. Soloists for the performance will be Mrs. Lu-ana Lu-ana Riddle, Mrs. Gladys Isom and Miss Helen Funk, sopranos; Mrs. Esther Jones and Mrs. Nai-da Nai-da Gardner, contraltos; Reed Roberts, DeMln Jones and Ralph Hafen, tenors; James Condie and Howard Knight, baritones. The choir will also furnish music mu-sic for the Cedar Stake quarterly quarter-ly conference on April 19. |
