Show Las Vegas Television Station May Reach Cedar City John Rowberry, chairman of the Cedar City Chamber of Commerce Com-merce Television committee, reports re-ports that there is a possibility that television will come into Cedar City within 60 to 90 days, providing a new station, to be located lo-cated in Las Vegas, Nev. proves strong enough to provide service for this territory as expected. Permission to establish the new television station in Las Vegas has been granted, and it is hoped that the station will be ready to start test telecasts in approximately 90 days. Fringe reception is expected in Cedar City at that time, Mr. Rowberry states, with definite assurance that reception would improve as soon as a contemplated new high tower is completed. Working with Mr. Rowberry on the chamber television committee commit-tee are Arthur Higbee, Eldon Webster, John Craotree and Glen Yergensen. |
