Show Colored Movies To Be Treat For Men of 213th Members of Headquarters Battery Bat-tery of the 213th Field Artillery ! Battalion, serving in Korea, will enjoy a real treat in the near future as the result of the efforts of John Cowberry, local theatre ma naper. Mr. Kowberry took motion pictures pic-tures of the July LMth Children's parade in Cedar City and in addition ad-dition added a series of candid shots of spectators, the crowd on the city park after the parade and of Main street. He has had the film developed and yesterday sent it air mail to the Battery to be shown at the camp in Korea. The film, in color, will certainly cer-tainly give the men serving in Korea an idea of what went on jhere on Pioneer Day. The film 'gives an excellent view of the ; parade, and also pictures many I local residents, wives, parents, ' brothers and sisters, and friends of the guardsmen as they watch -ed the parade and visited on the park. These shots were especially interesting because in nearly j every case the persons shown were entirely unaware of the fact that they were being photographed. |
