Show NOTICE OF SPECIAL BOND ELECTION CEDAR CITY, IRON COUNTY, UTAH SEPTEMBER 4, 1951 PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on the 4th day of September, 1951, a special election elec-tion will be held within the limits lim-its of Cedar City, Iron County, Utah, for the purpose of submitting submit-ting to such qualified electors of said City, as shall ha-e paid a property tax therein in the year next preceding such election, the following question: Shall the negotiable coupon General Obligation Bonds of Cedar Ce-dar City, Iron County, Utah, in the aggregate principal amount of $-10,000.00, or so much thereof as may be necessary, payable within twenty years from date of issue, and bearing interest at a rate not exceeding four per centum cen-tum per annum, payable semiannually, semi-annually, be issued and sold for the purpose of defraying in part the cost of extending, grading, grad-ing, paving or otherwise improving improv-ing the streets within Cedar City? The official ballot, after the statement of the question submitted, sub-mitted, shall contain the words "For the issuance of the General Obligation Bonds, Yes - No." If the voter desires to vote for the issue of bonds, he shall place an X in the space after the word "Yes." If the voter desires to vote against the issue of bonds, he shall place an X after the word "No." If the question so submitted is approved by a majority ma-jority of those voting thereon, bonds to the authorized amount mav be issued. On the reverse side of the bal-'its bal-'its shall be printed the following: follow-ing: -Official ballot for Cedar City, L'tah, Special Bond Election, September 4, 1951. M. and remain open until and be closed at the hour of 8:00 o'clock P. M. of the election day. The voting place for all of the qualified electors of Voting Districts Dis-tricts No. 1 and 2 (east of Main Street) shall be at the City and County Building in Cedar City, Utah and the judges of election at said polling place shall be Lillian Ahlstrom. Pauline Neptune Nep-tune and Nellie Dix and the voting vot-ing place for all of the qualified electors of Voting Districts No. 3, 4 and 5 (west of Main Street) shall be at the Second Ward Church at 212 West 200 South Street in Cedar City. Utah and the judges of election at said polling place shall be Flora Bowman, Bow-man, Elda Fife and Florence Higbee. Dated at Cedar City, Iron County, Utah this 2nd day of August, 1951. L. V.
