Show RIVER HEIGHTS CITIZENS HAVE TO THEIR CREDIT A BEAUTIFUL NEW CHAPEL By MRS. JOHN LUXDBERG RIVER HEIGHTS At the close of the year 1933 the people of River Heights had to their credit a newly completed L. D. S. chapel. Thus on the 22 day of April 1934, President Presi-dent Heber J. Grant, head of the L. D. S. Church, visited River Heights and did on that date dedicate the chape 1. I Besides these people who have ! built new homes many have taken steps to improve their respective places. L. D. Bekker has steadily improved his chicken coops and at the present time has the most modern and complete group of coops in, the community. River Heights boasts of seven marriages and eight births during 1934. There have been three deaths during the entire year. At the present time there is no serious illness in the community. All the members are united in the efforts put forth for improvement. So the people of River Heights come to the end of another year with the satisfaction of having progressed during 1934.
