A large number of the parents of South Cache high school students stu-dents of Wellsville enjoyed parents par-ents day at the school on Wednesday Wed-nesday attending classes and the programs presented. Tuesday evening at the Wellsville Wells-ville ward MIA meeting the following fol-lowing Christmas program was given, "The Story of a Star," by Mrs. Bessie Jones, chorus Jingle Bells by the scouts; song, Clayton Allan; song and reading, Herbert Broby; recitation, Louis Smith; song, Wayne Turner; song, Dean Riggs. The M Men and GleanoF Girls of the Wellsville Second ward MIA were in charge of the program given at the Second ward I Sunday evening. Prayers were bj Clifford Parker and aLuyra Williamson; Wil-liamson; talk on the. "Life of Christ" by Grace Parker; recitation Joseph Brenchley; talk on the Life of Joseph Smith by Leslie K. Gunnell, chorus by Miss Joan Bailey and company. Mrs. Wm. H. Glenn entertained at a quilting party on Thursday Dinner was served to Mesdames Letha Hall, Gwennie Glenn, Jennie Jen-nie Murray, Mary J. Parker, Eliza Cooper, Mrs. Alex Turcott and Mrs. Wm. S. Glenn. Mr. and Mrs. Grover Jones, Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Haslam and Mr. and Mrs. Luther Cooper and fam- ilies spent the past week end at Layton guests of Mr. and Mrs. Willard Parker. Mrs. Eunice Hall left for her home at Forthsye, Montana after spending two months here and in Salt Lake with relatives. While here she was guest of Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Hall. WELLSVILLE o The guide boys of the Wellsville ward Primary held a candy pull at the home of Warren Hall on Wednesday evening. Six boys were present. Mr. and Mrs. Heber Green left Friday for Los Angeles, California to spend the winter. The Wellsville ward YLMIA sponsored an entertainment at the tabernacle on Wednesday evening with Wahneta Parkinson, Lueretia Maughan and Belva Hall in charge of arrangements. Tre program consisted con-sisted of a dance revue, under the direction of Miss Shirley Jacobsen of Logan: Duet, "The Christmas Tree" by the Misses Edth and Marie Smith; a dance in the recreation re-creation hall followed the program pro-gram with the Price family furnishing fur-nishing the music. Refreshments were sold. The Wellsville ward Relief Society So-ciety under the direction of Coun cilor Ethel Jones held work and business meeting Tuesday. Painting Paint-ing pictures and quilting were enjoyed. en-joyed. Refreshments were served by Mesdames, Martha Leishman, Caroline Leishman, Lena Maughan, Maugh-an, Barbara Hall, Margaret Jones, .
