Show Bonding on the horizon HELPER City fathers have taken the first step in issuing a non-voted revenue bond on Helper's water system improvement project. pro-ject. The Community Impact has awarded a $900,000 grant and a $400,000 loan to fund improvements in the city's culinary water system, Mayor Mike Dalpiaz said last week. Issuance of a non-voted revenue bond will be necessary to provide evidence of the $400,000 loan, the mayor said. Helper will issue the bond, and the Community Impact Board will be the purchaser. However, the city must first adopt a formal resolution before closing on the bond, and a bond attorney must be hired, Dalpiaz said. |
