Show ; Cancer screening i clinics scheduled ! The Cancer Screening and Prevention Program, Utah State Department of Health, in cooperation coopera-tion with the American Cancer Society and participating local health departments, will provide cancer screening clinics for women this month. The clinics will include Pap tests, I pelvic and breast examination, I blood pressure check, hemocult kits for colorectal cancer, health information infor-mation on risk factors, signs and O symptoms of cancer, and referral for appropriate medical follow-up. 1 All exams will be performed by registered nurses. A fee ranging from $5 to $25 will be charged based bas-ed upon the annual family income and family size of the individual. All women 18 years of age or older, or who are sexually active, who have not had a Pap test during the past year are encouraged to attend. at-tend. Exams will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. March 26 at the Bountiful Utah South Stake, 1250 S. Main and March 30 at the Centerville South Stake, 160 S. 300 East. Appointments are necessary and may be scheduled by phoning 538-6712. Although the exams are being held in church buildings, they are open to all women regardless of religious affiliation. |
