Show Weber Basin won't raise rate The Weber Basin Water Conservancy District has announced that it will not raise its operating and maintenance rate, thus bringing further savings to its customers. The district planned its tentative budget for the next fiscal year in order to help its customer entities plan their own budget. Although the board members said there is some justification to raise the operational and maintenance rate this year, they voted to hold the line 4 against an increase for one more year. As a result, the cost of culinary, irrigation and secondary secon-dary water to the district's customers will remain the same in 1993. The WBWCD supplies culinary, secondary and irrigation ir-rigation water to cities, subconservancy districts, water companies and public entities. This will be the fourth consecutive year in which no increase was made in the district's operation and maintenance rate. |
