Show 7 6 from District qualify for National Geography Bee i Sixteen students from the Davis County School District were among the 100 qualifiers to the state level f of the National Geography Bee. More than 7 million fourth through eighth grade students from 1 throughout the nation competed f within their schools for a chance at the national crown. Each school winner then took a gaJifying exam for a chance to iTJpete at the state level. Only the top 100 students in Utah will compete com-pete at the state's competition to be held March 27. The competition will be held at Brigham Young University during the Utah Geographic Alliance Spring Conference. Con-ference. This year's qualifiers from Davis County are: Adam Andrus, 5th grade, Vae View Elementary; Justin Archibald, 6th grade. Antelope Elementary; Andrew Gillman, 6th grade, Adelaide Elementary; Steve Hamilton, 5th grade, Adams Elementary; Curtis Jensen, 5th grade, Kaysville Elementary; Joshua Johnson, 7th grade, North Layton Junior High; Caitlin Lane, 7th grade, Centerville Junior High. I Other winners were Jacob Lloyd, I 5th grade, Knowlton Elementary; I Matthew Newbold, 5 th grade, I Morgan Elementary; Adam Parrish, I 4th grade, Washington Elementary; I Joey Prinster, 6th grade, Centerville I Elementary; Devon Rohlfmg, 8th I grade, Central Davis Junior High; ' Corban Sims, 6th grade, Orchard I Elementary; David Stuart, 7th I grade, South Davis Junior High; I Eric Widdison, 8th grade, Kaysville I Junior High; Robert ZoBell, 6th I grade, Valley View Elementary.
