Show DATC to award 10 students The Davis Applied Technology Center will award ten scholarships to current high school seniors who plan to enroll at the DATC in Kays-ville Kays-ville during the 1992-93 school year. Four Presidential scholarships for one year are available. Presidential scholarships pay for tuition, books and fees up to $1,200. These scholarships schol-arships have been named in honor of citizens who have given strong support to applied technology education. edu-cation. They include the Haven Barlow Scholarship, the Dee R. Forbes Scholarship and the Lucile C. Reading Scholarship. Six board scholarships which pay tuition for one year up to $1,000 will also be available. Scholarships will be awarded to students based on their previous ed-ucationalvocational ed-ucationalvocational accomplishments. ac-complishments. Scholarships are to be used by all students to further their applied technology education for employment. Students must be enrolled at least half time at the DATC. State winners in competition through the FBLA, VICA, FHAHERO, DECA, HOSA, or other student vocational leadership organizations will be given top consideration con-sideration for scholarships.
