Show Lady 'Cats, Braves win softball openers It's that time of year again. Last Thursday, the Region Six Softball season officially got under way, with local entries, Bountiful and Woods Cross, securing Opening Day victories. WOODS CROSS 7, Murray 4 WOODS CROSS The Lady Wildcats overcame a 3-0 deficit to defeat perennial state-powerhouse state-powerhouse Murray 7-4. Charity Richards blasted a two-RBI triple tri-ple in the third inning to complete com-plete the comeback. After the Lady Spartans took a 3-0 lead in the first inning, Woods Cross rallied to knot the bcore at 4-all by the third inning. With two outs, Woods Cross scored on a Murray throwing error to take the lead. Randi Slack crossed the plate on the miscue to put the 'Cats in front to stay.
