Show Senior Citizens seek members, announce dinner Senior Citizens are reminded of the monthly banquet next Wednesday, at 1 p.m., at Memorial Mem-orial Hall. Reservations should be made not later than Monday, Mon-day, with members of the committee, com-mittee, Mr. and Mrs. Norris Binks of Mapleton; Maude Harmer, Charlotte Merritt, Le-ora Le-ora Sundbloom or A. I. Tip-petts. Tip-petts. Fifty cents per indiv-ual indiv-ual must accompany the reservation. res-ervation. All members of the Senior Citizens organization, which includes those over 50 years of age, are invited, states Chairman A. I. Tippetts. The dinner will be followed by a travelogue and other activity ac-tivity on the Wednesday afternoon after-noon schedule. Membership drive Annual membership drive to increase the enrollment from 300 to 400 members, is presently present-ly underway. A membership card entitles all over 50 years, to participate in the many activities ac-tivities carried on during the year including tours sponsored by the organization. The drive will continue through January. Owen Beardall is membership chairman and is being assisted by a number of members of the committee to whom memberships mem-berships may ba paid. |
