Show Family life conference The generation gap is the theme of the family life conference con-ference to be held Friday, Jan. 26, at the concert hall in the Harris Fine Arts Center BYU, from 9:30 to 3 p.m., to which the public is invited. The program pro-gram depicts how a family may make behavior changes. Excellent entertainment and family fun will be part of the program and take home packet. pack-et. There is a small charge per individual. Symphony concert Governor Calvin L. Rampton will appear with the Utah Symphony as narrator for "A Lincoln Portrait" by Aaron Copland in the Family Night concert scheduled Friday, Jan. 26, in the Salt Lake Tabernacle Taber-nacle at 8:00 p.m. Family Night is sponsored annually by A. G. and Food-town Food-town Stores, at any of which free tickets for the entire family fam-ily can be obtained. As in the past, a capacity audience is anticipated. Research classes The Utah Valley Branch Genealogical Library is sponsoring spon-soring a series of genealogical research classes for people of this area, to begin in February. Febru-ary. They will be held once a week for eight to 10 weeks. Classes will be taught in Beginning. Begin-ning. Research, Research in England and Wales, Research in Scotland, Research in U.S., Research in Sweden and Research Re-search in Denmark. Sam Roberts spent his 73rd birthday Wednesday, in the Veterans Hospital undergoing heart exploratory tests. Jerry Olsen of Brookside is confined to the Utah Valley Hospital, where he has undergone under-gone back surgery. |
