The new clerk-treasurer succeeds suc-ceeds Clarence Wendel, who (Cont. on back page, col. 5) Dale Schimmelpfennig has been appointed clerk-treasurer of Nebo School District and will assume his duties January 29, it was announced this week. During this time he has had considerable experience and training in data processing. Mr. Schimmelpfennig received receiv-ed a bachelor's degree from Utah State University, majoring major-ing in accounting and has a master's degree in School Ad-' ministration from the same school. At present he is working work-ing on his doctorate at the University Uni-versity of Utah. Experience He has had six years business bus-iness experience with Sears Roebuck and Company as division di-vision manager; instructor, Utah State University evening school; classroom teacher, Davis Da-vis County School District 1951 to 1952); director of finance, Cache County School District, 1952 to 1961; educational consultant, con-sultant, Ellerbe & Company, St. Paul, Minnesota; committee assignments on a national level lev-el for the U.S. Office of Education, Edu-cation, holder of a valid state general administration certificate; certifi-cate; consultant to U.S. Office Of-fice of Education in establishing establish-ing uniform system of data processing for State Departments Depart-ments of Public Instruction. He was also appointed to the Governor's Gov-ernor's committee to study electronic data processing for the state of Utah. A member of the LDS Church, Mr. Schimmelpfennig has served as a teacher and supervisor su-pervisor in various organizations. organiza-tions.
