(Lena) Jones and Mrs. Mike (Alice) Scott both of Warrenton, Oregon; and Mrs. Sadie Jewett of Watsonville, Calif. Louis Clark, a brother of Springville went to Paramount to attend the services Tuesday. Mrs. Peay, a sister of Springville, Spring-ville, went by plane to Watsonville, Watson-ville, Calif., early in December Decem-ber to join her sister, Sadie, and the two visited a week with Mrs. Nicholea. Benjamin Disraeli California rites held for former resident Funeral services were held at Paramount, Calif., Tuesday, for Mrs. Cassie Clark Nicholes, 69, a former resident of Springville, who died Friday, January 12, 1968, at the Riv-erview Riv-erview hospital at Santa Ana, following a short illness. Burial Bur-ial was in Inglewood. Mrs. Nicholes was born in Springville, Dec. 26, 1898, a daughter of James and Aleatha Barnett Clark. She spent her early life in this city attending schools here and later graduated graduat-ed as a nurse from LDS Hospital. Hos-pital. Her husband, Herbert T. Nicholes, died several years ago. For a time after their marriage, mar-riage, they lived in Salt Lake City, moving to Eugene, Ore., where they lived before moving to California. She managed a hotel at Downey for a number of years, before moving to Santa San-ta Ana. Surviving are two sons, Charles of Santa Ana and Neil |
