Tew was sustained as counselor in the Maple-ton Maple-ton First Ward bishopric in sacrament services Sunday evening, under direction of William J. Pratt of the stake presidency. Released was Clyde Mortensen who has served as second counselor to Bishop Harold V. Gividen. Mr. Tew has been serving as a counselor to Glenden C. Johnson in Kolob Stake mission mis-sion presidency and also as president of the 51st Quorum of Seventy prior to the new assignment. He is a son of Mrs. Jennie Tew and the late William T. Tew and is married mar-ried to the former Myrna Lee Weight, of Springville. They have four children. |
