Mrs. Atkinson was the mother of Mrs. Reginald (Geraldine Ewing) Ew-ing) Cloward. They also visited visit-ed Leo and Margaret Ewing Seibold at Belmont, California, and went to Redwood City to see Ed and Judith Ann Benton and their new baby. Major Alan Wingate left this week to return to Fort Riley, Kansas, after a ten-day visit with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. F. Wingate. It was his first leave in three years and he visited also with his sister and brother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. R. J. Laney and family and other relatives and friends in Salt Lake City and in Springville. Spring-ville. Major Wingate, his wife and children, were ready to leave for Viet Nam when his plans were changed a short time before he came to Utah. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Shepherd Shep-herd have returned home from a short trip to Phoenix, Arizona, Ari-zona, where they visited a sister, sis-ter, Ella Morrell and family. They also enjoyed one day at the temple in Mesa. They came home with a daughter, Mrs. Richard (Naomi) Adams and two sons, who motored to Phoenix. They went to Phoenix by way of Oak Creek Canyon and returned through Monument Monu-ment Valey and Navajo Tribal Park. Mrs. Jerry Childs and children child-ren have returned to their home in Colorado Springs, Colorado, Col-orado, following a few days visit with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Aaron Hansen in Springville.
