Show Brief ceremony conducted for former resident Private services were held Saturday at the Evergreen cemetery where the ashes of Mrs. Velma Mendenhall Bev-eridge, Bev-eridge, 50, were interred. Mrs. Beveridge, a former resident of Springville, wife of Ben H. Beveridge, died January 26, 1965, of a coronary occlusion, at their home in Fresno, Calif. She was a daughter of Thomas Deal and Anna Huntington Hunt-ington Mendenhall, born in Springville, May 20, 1904. She attended schools in Springville and Brigham Young University and had attained a Masters degree in social work. She had been a professional socil worker for a number of years, and was a state supervisor super-visor for the Utah Welfare Dept. before moving to California Calif-ornia in 1954.
