Advancements go to Scouts; leaders cited At the Scout court of honor hosted by Troop 70 of the Eighth Ward, numerous advancements ad-vancements were made to many Scouts of Hobble Creek District; Dis-trict; also a ten-year veteran's pin was presented to Murray Payne by Merle Black and the Scoutmaster Key to Mr. Black 126; Kenneth Swenson and Mack Davis, Troop 68. First Class Awards were given to Daniel Haymond, Troop 69; Paul Cloward, Troop 66, and Rand Ward, Troop 67. Star badges went to Gay Pabst and Scott Duncan, of Troop 67; Lorin Hall, Troop 70; Randy Snyder, 126, and Brent Winters, 69. Life badges were presented by Blake Riding to Ronald Snyder, Troop 126; Robert Woller, Troop 70, and Dennie Broderick, Randy Gurr and James Wilson, Troop 67. by Mr. Payne. Troop 70 received the Travel-' ing Trophy. One Scout, David Cope, was presented the Eagle Award by Scoutmaster Merle Black. A total of 40 merit badges were also given.
