Show Hazel Dalle y Granger HAZEL DALLEY GRANGER, 90, died Dec. 1, 1981, in a Cedar City hospital. She was born July 19, 1891, in Summit to Nelson B. and Mary Jones Dalley. She married Walter Keil Granger June 6, 1912 in the Salt Lake ' LDS Temple. He died April 21, 1978. She attended Iron County schools, the Branch Agricultural College and the University of Utah where she received her teacher's certificate. She began teaching in Teasdale, Utah, at the age of 18 and taught there and in the Iron County schools for 20 years. She worked with her husband in community , state and national government offices. During their professional careers they had lived in Cedar City, Washington D.C. and the Phoenix area. An accomplished vocalist, she studied with Professor Manning and sang in operas, musicals and the Mormon Tabernacle Choir. She is survived by four brothers: Otto of Summit, Stanley of Provo, and Jesse and Orien. both of Ann Arbor, Mich. Funeral service will be Dec. 5, 1981, at 11 a.m. in the Summit LDS Ward Chapel. Friends may call at the Spilsbury & Graff Mortuary in Cedar City Friday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. and Saturday at the chapel one hour prior to services. Burial will be in the Cedar City Cemetery. |
