Show Leona Jones Stones Margaret Elizabeth Prothero Jones. She married Daniel Amasa Stones June 2, 1920, in the St. George LDS Temple. He died Dec. 26, 1974. She was a graduate of the Branch Normal School in Cedar City and taught in Paragonah. She was an active member of the LDS Church, serving in many positions. She was a devoted mother, grandmother and homemaker. She is survived by one daughter and three sons: Kathleen Mitchell and Daniel Mario, both of Cedar City, Thomas Milo of Ogden and James Alan of Parowan. Also surviving are 17 grandchildren, and 24 great-grandchildren. Funeral services were Nov. 27 at 1 p.m. in the Paragonah LDS Ward Chapel. Burial was in the Paragonah Cemetery under the direction of the Spilsbury & Graff Mortuary. LEONA JONES STONES, 85, died Nov. 23, 1981, in Parowan.
