The run will be one-mile long and treats will be given to those in costume. Runners will predict their time for the run and try to finish close to their prediction. See you there! Cowboy does well in competition CEDAR CITY -Southern Utah State College freshman Gary Bulloch finished fifth in bull riding in National Intercollegiate Rodeo Association competition recently at Utah Technical College, Provo. Bulloch, son of Nelson and Hazel Bulloch, represented SUSC in intercollegiate competition com-petition against nine other regional schools including Boise State College, College of Southern Idaho, Weber State College, University of Utah, Utah State University, Idaho State University, Northern Nevada Community College, and Utah Technical Colleges, Salt Lake and Orem. The SUSC team will host its annual NIRA rodeo during Wild West Week scheduled for April 26-May 1. Each school hosts a rodeo during the year prior to the NIRA finals which are held in Bozeman, Mont. "The Utah Technical College rodeo was the first one of the season," said Mark Wright, rodeo club advisor. "Events get underway again in January when Weber State hosts the regional meet in its indoor arena. |
