Show Opera slated on KGSU The Chicago Symphony Orchestra begins its 1981-82 1981-82 season with Berlioz's dramatic legend "The Damnation of Faust," which will be broadcast Oct. 7 over KGSU-FM, the Southern Utah State College radio station. Directed by Sir Georg Solti, Berlioz's colorful work will begin at 5 p.m. over KGSU-FM, 90.1 megahertz on the radio dial. "SUSC has been broadcasting Chicago Symphony programs for three years now," said Lance Jackson, KGSU-FM KGSU-FM manager. 'Performances 'Per-formances run continuously con-tinuously throughout the year except during the summer when the station is not in operation." Heard on Wednesday of each week, Chicago Symphony performances are also aired over KGSU-FM on Tuesday at 2 p.m. The Tuesday performance is a repeat of the one heard on the previous Saturday Jackson said. |
