Also, if a veteran has a discharge such as bad conduct, undesirable or general under honorable conditions, a petition can be submitted to the applicable ap-plicable branch of service for a discharge upgrade. According to YA officials, of-ficials, special emphasis A representative of the Disabled American Veterans will be in Cedar City Oct. 6 to help veterans and their families in filing claims for Veterans Administration Ad-ministration benefits. The representative will be at the Job Service Center, 106 E. 200 North, from 2 to 5 p.m. He will assist with such benefits as disability compensation pension, will be placed on Vietnam era veterans because many of them are not using the benefits they have earned, and time is running out on some important services. The service is free to all veterans, widows and dependents. Veterans need not be members of the DAV to take advantage ad-vantage of this free service. |
