Show DUP Meeting Aunt Margaret Camp of Daughters of Utah Pioneers held their April meeting last"" week. A history of the Washington County DUP Museum was given by Captain Thora E. Roundy. This museum was a gift in 1938 by Mrs. Hortense McQuarrie Odium, a native daughter of St. George in honor of her parents and grandparents, pioneers who settled St. George. This is a wonderful memorial to Mrs. Odium and her McQuarrie family. The lesson "Museum Artifacts" was given by Daughter Elene Jensen. Handmade .x pictures made of yarn and hair were displayed. Saturday at our County Convention two of our Daughters were honored, Annie Middleton Mc-Donough Mc-Donough and Fern Ruby Perkins, being given tributes and plaques for their loyal and faithful service to their Community, Church, and Daughters of Utah Pioneers. |
