Show Authors produce Stories written by three young Cedar City authors will be featured in upcoming performances of the Peanut Butter Players, a group of Southern Utah State College students who specialize in theater for children. "We've been asked to perform at the Cedar South Elementary, at the new elementary school in Enoch, and at Parowan and Santa Clara schools this month as part of Fine Arts Week," says Sandra Stielinski. producer-director of the Peanut Butter Players. "We'll be performing our popular 'Story Machine' which will be made even more exciting with the addition of three new stories written by children who responded to our request for original materials," Stiglinski s says. The young authors include Craig Anderson, a fourth grader at Cedar East Elementary, and Jason and Bryan Komarek, fourth and sixth graders, respectively, at Cedar North Elementary. Craig is the son of Richard and Beverly Anderson; Bryan and Jason are the sons of James and Lynette Komarek. "We thank Bryan, Jason and Craig for their contributions con-tributions and invite them to see their stories performed at the South or Enoch Elementary schools," Stiglinski said. The South Elementary performances will be on April 24, and the Enoch Elementary performance per-formance April 29, with shows starting at 10 a.m. at both schools. "The Peanut Butter Players are very excited about these stories, and we hope to perform them soon at the Cedar City Library during story hour," Stiglinski said. "Any other children in the area who have written stories, poems or plays are encouraged to submit them to us for use in upcoming productions," she says.
