Show Juvenile Arrested Surveillance at the Cedar City High School late Saturday night led to the arrest of a 17 year old juvenile for burglary when the young man allegedly entered the building with keys that had reportedly been missing from the school. According to Cedar City Police Sergeant Craig Holyoak, the arrest was made when Holyoak and Deputy Frank Slack of the Iron county Sheriff's Office were alerted to the possibility of a burglary being attempted at the high school by school administrators ad-ministrators who discovered an open window and open doors inside the school. While officers were waiting for someone to enter the school through the open window, the young man used a' key to open a side door nearby. He was immediately arrested and will be referred to juvenile court for burlgary. There was no loss or damage to the school in the incident. |
