Show Washington j Mrs. Lenzj7 Hoopes Reporter Mr. and Mrs. Ben Holland and family are spending a week in Leeds picking peaches. Heber C. Atkin, who has been in Los Angeles with his children, returned home Wednesday. He had planned staying all summer but the climate didn't agree with him. William Sullivan of Hurricane was in town on business Sunday. Miss Byrl Hoopes and her brother, Lenzy Junior, motored to Orderville and Alton Sunday where they visited relatives. Miss Erlynne Paxman, who has been in Cedar City visiting her aunt, Mrs. Bert Webb, returned home Monday. The greatest damage done here by the terrific wind was to Charles Averett's home. The roof was swept off. Trees around the I community were also uprooted. ' I Miss Augusta Gould entertained entertain-ed the little tots at a swimming party Monday at the Warm Springs. After the swim she took them to her home whore she enjoyed en-joyed a story hour with them. |
