Show St. George Nursery School To Reopen Today After several week's vacation, the St. George Nursery selnxil will reopen re-open Thursday, Aug. 10. Teachers from St. George, including in-cluding Mrs. Mary Orton. Mrs. Lorna Judd. Mrs. Louie Blake. Mrs. Reva Atkin. Mrs. Eva P. Higboe and Mrs. Eleanor Gibbons, Gib-bons, attended summer school at i the Utah State Agricultural col-' lege at Logan. All nursery school i cooks of the state took the course in nutrition, while other teachers took courses in child psychology, i nursery school procedure and , methods in adult education. j Among the outstanding profes-1 sors at the college was Doctor Vincent of the Merrill Palmer' Nursery school at Detroit, Mich., who is considered one of the best authorities on child psychology and child management. Doctor Blatz of the St. George Nursery) at Toronto, Canada, also, gave a week's course of lectures on child management. Doctor Blatz has had charge of the mental training of the Dionne quintuplets. All of the teachers agree this was the most profitable and enjoyable summer ever spent in training. |
