The local boys collected 10 three-base hits, four two-base hits and a single from the Boulder pitcher. They were credited as follows: Three-base hits: Judd. two; Lund, two; Buhecker, two; Sherman, one; Samson, one; (Continued on page four) Boulder City Loses . Lund was given practically perfect per-fect support by his team-mates. Gregerson caught one of the greatest games of his career, getting get-ting down in the dirt for seemingly seeming-ly impossible catches. In the field Sherman, Neilson and Brooks were credited with two spectular catches apiece. Judd, B. Empey, Samson and Buhecker covering the infield delivered truly big league baseball. Other members of the team who made the trip were M. Webb, G. Harris, G. Whipple, and J. S. Simmons, and the mascot, Leon Watson. The boys have finally hit their stride and with a little boosting instead of knocking will deliver future victories. |
