Show Enterprise Mrs. Theresa Huntsman Reporter Lila Huntsman has gone to Price to visit with her sister, Mrs. Harold Mangum. Mr. and Mrs. Lafayette Terry are here from Provo visiting with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. L. M. Terry. Muriel Pace, the 5-year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John I. Pace underwent a tonsilectomy at the Iron courity hospital on Friday. Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Hunt of Spanish Fork, Mrs. Sam Bauer and Mrs. Sarah Nelson of Cedar City spent Thursday of last week visiting here with their sister and daughter, Mrs. Jonathan Hunt. Mr. and Mrs. Ellis Larson of St. George were guests of Mr. and Mrs. Cliff Hall on Wednesday. Desmond Hall and Fred Bag-shaw Bag-shaw spent Sunday here from Pioche. Our baseball team went to Cedar City Sunday to play baseball. base-ball. The score was 8-12 in favor of Cedar City. Mrs. Jane Barnum of Las Vegas is here visiting with her daughter, Mrs. Amos Hunt. Mrs. Sarah Morris has returned home after a visit with two of her daughters, in Washington and Reno, Nev. After her visit was over, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Hart-quist, Hart-quist, the former Rose Morris, brought her home and visited here for several days. Mr. and Mrs. Grant Clove and Mrs. Clove's father, William T. Truman went to Mesquite on Saturday to get Mrs. William T. Truman, who has been there for several weeks putting up fruit. Mr. and Mrs. John Cannon spent the week end here from Hurricane where Mr. Cannon is working. Athur Huntsman and son, Richard, Rich-ard, spent Friday in St. George on business. Newell R. Frei and Rex Gardner Gard-ner of Pine Valley passed through here Saturday enroute home from Salt Lake City where they had been on business. Ivor Clove accompanied ac-companied them to Salt Lake and return. ' Mr. and Mrs. Vaughn Barnum and Mr. and Mrs. Leon Barnum of Pioche spent Sunday here. Mr. and Mrs. Del Adair have gone to Pioche to visit their daughter, Mrs. Marva Heminway. William J. Truman was rushed to the Iron county hospital on Saturday. It was feared that he had typhoid fever but is report-i report-i ed to be improving at present. Mr. and Mrs. Steve Potter and ! Mrs. Cliff Brown and two chil-( chil-( dren of Pioche visited with their j mother, Mrs. William T. Truman j on Monday, i Garden Club ! Fifty-six members and invited guests of the Enterprise Flower Garden club spent a very pleasant j day in the park at Pine Valley on last Thursday. The morning was spent in visit- ing and playing games. After lunch the following program was rendered. Music by the string - band, led by Amos Hall: Twenty-j Twenty-j third Psalm read by Ila A. All who attended expressed ex-pressed themselves as having enjoyed en-joyed the day immensely and feel that we should use the parks more frequently. |
