I The Misses Pharol Slack and Wanda Anderson of Cedar City spent a few days this week visiting visit-ing their parents here. Miss Maxine Slack, who has been attending Heneger's Business college at Salt Lake City for the past two months, arrived here on Friday to spend a week with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Harry-Slack. Harry-Slack. Mr. and Mrs. R. T. Higbee and Mrs. Clay Denton spent Tuesday visiting in Cedar City. Mr. and Mrs. Preston Williams of Kanarraville and Mrs. Rhea Wakeling of Cedar City, spent Sunday visiting with Mr. and Mrs. R. T. ' Higbee. Mr. and Mrs. Howard Empey of St. George spent last week visiting with Mr. and Mrs. William Wil-liam Bringhurst. Miss Mary Naegle arrived here Thursday from Salt Lake City where she has been for two weeks under the doctor's care. Miss Mary Alice Bringhurst, who has been attending the Excelsis Beauty school at Ogden, arrived Tuesday to visit for a month with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. William Bringhurst. About 18 of our townspeople spent Tuesday at Hurricane canning can-ning fruit for the church security. Miss Twila Williams of Kanarra spent the week end visiting with her sister, Mrs. Leslie Bringhurst. A number of people have come in to help with the picking and packing of the fruit. |
