Show Mrs. Jesse Gifford Dies At Parents Home In Hurricane Tuesday HURRICANE, Utah Mrs. Jesse Gifford, 38, who has been afflicted with a nervous disorder for 15 years, died Tuesday, Aug. 1, at 9:45 in her parents home. Before her marriage to Jesse Gifford of Springdale, September 5, 1923, in the St. George Temple, Mrs. Gifford was Nomie Demill, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Oliver Demille. She was born November 28, 1901, in Rockville. After her marriage her home was in Spring-dale Spring-dale for about 16 years. In 1932 she suffered from a nervous disease dis-ease and came to' live with her parents until the date of her death. Funeral services were held on Wednesday, Aug. 2, at 2 p.m. in the north ward chapel. Mrs. Gifford is survived by Gess Gifford. husband and two children, chil-dren, Billman, age 7 and Marlon, age 2; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Oliver IX-mill, six sisters. Mrs. Fenton Imlay. Rita, Arnetta and Darlene Demille of Hurricane; Mrs. Kenneth Imlay of Cedar City; Mrs. Karl Fife, of Tooele. Utah; four brothers. Ivan, Raymond. Ray-mond. KIwin and Glendon. Two girls and two boys were lost in infancy. |
