After graduation from high school he traveled with the well known Kordsmen Quartet for five years. In July of 1975 the Samaritans disbanded so Tim travels by himself throughout the United States presenting gospel programs in many churches and schools. He has on many occasions been asked to present his musical testimony at fairs, banquets, prisons, and other special functions. He has made several television appearances and is heard regularly on radio. Tim Petersen's concerts are comprised of both traditional and gospel music.
